Katherine Little serves as a tax partner at T. E. Lott & Company’s Starkville office. With over 17 years of tax experience in public accounting, she has played a pivotal role in maintaining T. E. Lott & Company’s reputation as your trusted local name in accounting. Her primary expertise lies in tax, encompassing areas such as individual, partnership, corporate, gift, trust, estate, and non-profit tax compliance, research, and planning. Katherine works closely with her clients to align their goals with tax planning opportunities.

Beyond her tax expertise, Katherine is also adept in Social Security Planning, Elder Care, and Estate Planning. She holds two certifications in this area, Certified Senior Advisor and Certified Specialist in Estate Planning (CSEP).  In 2012, she co-founded the TEL CARES division. This division offers services specifically tailored for seniors, such as personal bill payments, mail interception, and caregiver payroll specifically tailored for seniors. TEL CARES mitigates the pressures of daily financial decisions and responsibilities, and offers a trustworthy solution for clients transitioning to retirement or those assisting family members in preserving their independence.

In 2006, Katherine earned her Master of Taxation from Mississippi State University. She remains active in the Starkville community. She currently serves as Treasurer for the Delta Omega Chapter of Kappa Delta House Corporation, rotating Treasurer for the Starkville Rotary Club, former ambassador for the Greater Starkville Development Partnership, and previously served the local North Central Chapter as a board member for the Mississippi Society of CPAs (MSCPA).  She is a member of the MSCPA and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).  She has received accolades from the local community by being voted Best Accountant in the Starkville Daily News and received the Rookie Award from the Starkville Rotary Club for her contributions to the club.
